Legal Experience
Avery Delott has more than three decades of experience in transactional practice for professionals and tax, probate and estate planning. His skills include counseling professionals in the development, organization, maintenance, merger, acquisition, expansion and contraction of their businesses; professional business entities (corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and others); closely-held entities; employment agreements, stock purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, purchase and sale of business agreements, operating agreements and documents for other business and professional relationships; qualified and non-qualified retirement plans; employee benefits; estate planning; and probate matters. His client base includes the representation of a large number of non-institutional healthcare providers as well as clients in varied industries such as accounting, law, architecture, engineering, technology, consulting, manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales and distribution. Mr. Delott is a member of the Firm's Executive Committee. Mr. Delott also serves as a member of the Leading Lawyers Network Advisory Board.

Admissions Information
Mr. Delott has been admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois; he has also been admitted before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Tax Court.

Bar Association and Other Memberships
Mr. Delott is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations and serves on the American Bar Association's Section on Taxation. Mr. Delott is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Educational Background
Mr. Delott received his law degree from Northwestern University in 1972; he received a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
