Ben M. Roth
Legal Experience
Ben M. Roth joined Kamensky Rubinstein Hochman & Delott, LLP in 1977 after working for four years as an agent with the Internal Revenue Service in Chicago, Illinois. He became a Partner of the Firm in 1980. Mr. Roth is licensed to practice law in both Illinois and Florida, and concentrates his practice in estate planning, probate, asset protection planning, federal taxation and retirement benefit planning. He has lectured on many aspects of tax planning and is the author of numerous articles on the subject. Mr. Roth's articles have appeared in the Journal of Taxation, The Practical Accountant, Medical Economics, numerous Bar Association Journals and a Chapter 4 Callaghan & Co. Mr. Roth's Book, A Simplified Approach to Planning Estates (Farnsworth) is now in its second edition. His most recent publication, Advanced Estate Planning Techniques in Illinois was published by the National Business Institute.
Admissions Information
Mr. Roth was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1975 and the Florida Bar in 1976. He has also been admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States Tax Court.
Bar Association and Other Memberships
Mr. Roth is a member of the Chicago Bar Association where he serves as a member and officer of the Trust Law Committee and the Employee Benefits Committee. He has served as a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association and he is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
Educational Background
Mr. Roth received his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1975. He attended the University of Illinois, where he received his B.S. degree in 1971 cum laude and his M.B.A. in 1972 with honors.
