Legal Experience
David J. Hochman concentrates his practice in the areas of professional and closely-held corporations, health care, employee benefits, taxation, trust and estate planning and probate. Representative clients include physicians, dentists, other non-institutional healthcare providers, as well as individuals and businesses engaged in consulting, wholesale and retail sales and distribution, accounting, law, architecture and engineering. Mr. Hochman is a member of the Firm's Executive Committee.

Educational Background
Mr. Hochman received his law degree from the University of Illinois in 1973; he received his B.A. from the University of Missouri at Columbia.

Bar Association and Other Memberships
Mr. Hochman is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American Bar Associations and has been involved in many activities of these associations. He has served as the newsletter co-editor and has been seated as a Council member, Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the Illinois State Bar Association Employee Benefits Section. Mr. Hochman has also lent his experience to serving the American Bar Association as a member of the Section on Taxation and the Section's Committee on Personal Service Organizations and was a Co-Chairman of the Subcommittee on Incorporation of Law Firms. He is also a member of Section of Health Law and the Law Practice Management Section and an adjunct member of the Section's Employee Benefits Committee. As a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Mr. Hochman has served as a member of several Committees, including the Committee on Employee Benefits, where he has served as Secretary, and the Committee on Hospital and Healthcare Law. He is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and lectures frequently to physician groups, accountants and consultants.

Mr. Hochman has been elected as a member of the Leading Lawyers Network and has been rated AV® Preeminent™ by his professional peers through the Martindale Hubbell Peer Review Rating system.
